We are a only few days away from the Tri the Mountains Triathlon being held Sunday, July 25th in Blue Ridge GA. Registration has been filling up and we want let you know that you are invited.
Don't miss out on this scenic race in the North GA Mountains! This race consists of a crystal clear swim in the waters of Lake Blue Ridge, an 18 mile bike crossing the lake with a beautiful mountain backdrop and an invigorating run through the Marina and into town. You will enter the historic town of Blue Ridge and finish in front of the old courthouse, now the Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Center. The after party in the park near the center of town will be one to remember. If you have never visited Blue Ridge GA, put this on your race schedule! After Party!
Organizers are hard at work creating a memorable awards presentation and after party in historic downtown Blue Ridge. The goal of the Race Committee is to provide excellent post race food in a COOL relaxing environment. The Race Committee is also working with local artists to create unique awards for the age group and relay winners. There will also be some great prizes raffled off during the post race celebration. We’re working with local merchants to open their shops early for spectators and competitors to peruse while in the downtown area.
For a local farm-to-table culinary experience, we highly recommend Harvest on Main as one of the best restaurants in Blue Ridge. The atmosphere is reminiscent of an Adirondack Fishing Lodge and they feature live entertainment on the weekends. Reservations are highly recommended on the weekend. Let them know you’re in town for the Triathlon!
